Laura’s grounded and calm facilitation style creates an immediate sense of trust for a team. Because of this trust, teams can quickly develop the openness needed to tackle and process real issues. A ViRTUS facilitator since 2010, Laura specializes in virtual facilitation. Laura also consults with the BC Health Authorities, coaching leaders and providing leadership development. She recently began consulting with an Australian based company providing respectful workplace training in BC and co-facilitating restorative conferences. Laura completed an Executive MBA at the Beedie School of Businessat Simon Fraser University. She participated in the Americas program, studying in Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies in SFU’s Liberal Business Studies Program, graduating with distinction. Laura is very passionate about non-profit work. She has facilitated #BESTYOUth, an emotional and social intelligence program designed by ViRTUS for youth in several lower mainland high schools. Laura has also volunteered with the North Shore Restorative Justice Society for many years, co-facilitating restorative justice files and serving on the board.
