He studied Business Administration and General Management at the European Business School (EBS, Germany) and Universidad ORT (Uruguay). Alex is a Co-active Coach and hold certifications in sustainable business strategy, change leadership, organizational behaviour, finance, and leadership from INSEAD (France) and Harvard Business School (USA).

Alex founded a volunteer fundraising organization to support research on a rare type of childhood brain cancer (specifically DIPG). He participated in a 5,000 km car rally across Eastern Europe to raise awareness and is the recipient of the Foundation of Innovative Medicine’s ‘2019 DIPG Fighter Award’. In 2020, Alex relocated from Germany to B.C.’s lower mainland, where he planted his roots with his wife and young son.
