Laura Mack

Laura’s grounded and calm facilitation style creates an immediate sense of trust for a team. Because of this trust, teams can quickly develop the openness needed to tackle and process real issues.

A ViRTUS facilitator for almost a decade, Laura works with our clients both virtually and in-person. Laura is also an Associate with Authentic Leadership Global, Inc., training coaches and facilitators worldwide and has facilitated Authentic Leadership Conversations in several sectors, most recently within the federal government.

Laura completed an Executive MBA at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. She participated in the Americas program, studying in Brazil, Mexico, and the USA. She earned a Bachelor of General Studies in SFU’s Liberal Business Studies Program, graduating with distinction.

Laura is very passionate about non-profit work. For example, she facilitated #BESTYOUth, an emotional and social intelligence program designed by ViRTUS for youth. Laura is a Board member of the North Shore Restorative Justice Society, chair of the Restorative Response Advisory Committee, and a lead facilitator of restorative justice files. She is an advocate for vulnerable people of Vancouver’s downtown eastside.

Away from the office, Laura enjoys yoga, a good bottle of wine with friends, adventures with her son, and time with her husband.
