Jim brings clarity and steadiness to his work, cultivated by years of experience.
Jim’s experience spans broad industries and roles; he spent 26 years in senior roles with Fletcher Challenge Canada (now Catalyst Paper/TimberWest), five years as a Director at BC Hydro, and launched Nicholson and Associates Consulting in 2014.
Jim served as Board Vice President for the Downtown Vancouver Association and chaired its Sustainability Committee. He served as Board Vice President for the North Shore Counseling Centre Society. He is a longstanding member of both the Vancouver Board of Trade and BC Human Resource Management Association. To sum up, he is an active member of the business community in the Lower Mainland.
Jim is a British Columbia Institute of Technology graduate, Certified Master Trainer and has completed Executive Programs at The University of British Columbia and The Kellogg School of Management in Chicago. To sum up, he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that he brings to his role as a facilitator.
Above all, Jim prioritizes family. He spends as much time as he can with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
