Tenacious and hard-working, Carolyn specializes in helping professionals maximize their potential and achieve more. She is entrepreneurial in spirit, an author, university professor, as well as a Certified Emotional Intelligence Facilitator/Instructor. Her focus and passion has been on integrating emotional intelligence, leadership, and personal development to empower professionals to have the determination and courage to get out of their own way, live their best lives, and be their best selves.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing, a Bachelor of Education, Business Education and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Primary Education from the University of British Columbia. She has also earned a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in International Business from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, has completed a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. In addition, and is currently a professor at Capilano University.
Other than leadership development, Carolyn’s great passion is the welfare of animals. She volunteers her time on a regular basis at a local animal shelter and spreads awareness for prevention of animal cruelty. When she isn’t transforming businesses and clients, she can be found with her best friend – her dog Bailey.
